UWM Italia supports climate study of Environmental Ocean Team through Leviathan. EOT, society founded in London for the studies in the field of the climate and renovable energies, makes another step ahead, engaging new sponsors, with the satisfaction of its founders: Emilio Tesi (Bocca di Magra), Giovanni Soldini (Milano), Iacopo Celano (Rio Maggiore), James Trimming (Lerici), Paolo Cipollini (Tuscany) and Andrew Humble (London). Are part of the team also journalist Paolo Chighizola (Bocca di Magra), Giada Frank (La Spezia), computer science engineer electronic Matteo Unetti (Marina di Carrara) and the physicist Mark Bianucci (Tuscany) expert in renovable energies and designer of the photovoltaic system of the 40 feet Italian boat winner of Jaques Vabre Transat. The Australian brand Leviathan, also worldwide sponsor since long time of oceanographic institutions, marine biology scientists and antarctic enviromentalists, will also support EOT. Therefore Ocean Team will wear and test technical clothing supplied by Leviathan in its exploring activities.
The first chance will take place in Iceland, in April 2008, thanks to the Extended Ellett Cruise Linens. Arturo delle Donne, professional photographer, and Emilio Tesi, physicist and general coordinatoor of EOT, will participate to an oceanographic campaign organized by NOCS of Southampton and will give their contribution. Other important sponsor engaged is the Lmf & Partners brokerage house stock corporation, society of management of Milan. Lmf has manifested particular sensibility for the climate problematics. This society from Milan decided to concretely contribute to the activities of Environmental Ocean Team. |
